Professional Reiki Practitioner Diploma
Become a “Registered Reiki Practitioner”
The highest professional recognition for Reiki practitioners in the UK
The Reiki Diploma is the highest professional recognition for Reiki practitioners in the UK, and the Reiki Academy is one of the few schools in England offering this accredited training. It will enable you to work or volunteer in the NHS and in charitable settings, and it will help you to stand out amongst other Reiki practitioners once you practice professionally. It also allows you to become a “Registered Reiki Practitioner” by joining the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).
However, traditionally just Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 were necessary for professional practice, and this is still the case. Straight after Reiki 2, you will already be able to work professionally, start your own business and become a member of the UK Reiki Federation.
We teach the diploma in modules, with Reiki 1 and 2 being the first to take. It is not necessary to commit to the entire diploma when you start learning Reiki – just take a Reiki 1 course and see how it resonates. You can then add the other modules step by step.
The entire diploma consists of the following:
· Reiki 1 (2-day course)
· Reiki 2 (2-day course)
· Intuitive Reiki (1-day workshop)
· Professional Reiki (1-day workshop)
· Reiki Treatment Day (1-day workshop)
· Reiki in the NHS (1-day workshop)
· Plus 3x Reiki Share
· Completion of 100 self-treatments (incl. treatments you received from other practitioners)
· Completion of 75 treatments to other people (these treatments need to include 10 case studies where you give 4 treatments to the same person and write a short 1-page summary of the outcome)
· Final written exam
We explain all the details and requirements when you attend a Reiki 1 or 2 course.
For the diploma training, there is a minimum time of 9 months required, but no maximum time to complete it. But you can do Reiki 1 and 2 much more quickly and already start practicing professionally while you continue with the other modules.
You pay for the diploma separately for each module:
Reiki 1 - £ 237
Reiki 2 - £ 337
4x Workshop - £ 111 each
3x Reiki Share - £ 10 each
The total for the entire diploma training is £ 1048.
You can start with any Reiki 1 course that we offer in either Barnes or Hoxton. Throughout the entire training, the teacher is available for guidance by email as well as in person at the Reiki Shares.
Due to the strict regulation, is is usually mandatory that the entire training is taken at the Reiki Academy. However, we maybe able to offer the re-taking of Reiki 1 and 2 at a discounted price or accept part of your traing if you have already trained in Reiki at another school. Please email us to find out more.
Please note that the Reiki Master Training is for students who want to progress to teach others and is separate to the diploma.
